Bring your passion for people, creativity, and community into a role where every day is different. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Gallery Assistant to join our Art Gallery team and help deliver welcoming, high-quality front‐of‐house experiences for our visitors.
Employment Details
* Permanent, part‐time position.
* Twenty‐one (21) hours per week to be worked on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
* Remuneration package of $1,283.96 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $1,540.75 gross per fortnight based on part‐time hours of work + superannuation (12%).
* Penalty rates applicable for hours worked on weekends.
* Ongoing training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
* Provide customer service, assist with visitor engagement and support retail and reception tasks.
* Perform reception and retail responsibilities and daily housekeeping, including stock management, sales, reconciliation, and database maintenance.
* Support general gallery operations, assist collection administration and event delivery.
* Work independently and be available to consistently work a weekly Saturday shift.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualifications and/or experience relevant to the role, e.g., Customer Service, Visitor Services, Administration and/or Visual Arts.
* Demonstrated retail and sales experience and ability to deliver quality customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
