Salter Brothers Hospitality are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional General Manager to lead our exceptional teams across our luxury hotels and retreats in the Hunter Valley and South Australia.
Based in the stunning Hunter Valley, you will work closely with the SBH Senior Leadership Team and fellow Regional Managers to drive performance, elevate guest experiences, and uphold the standards of our luxury brand.
Reporting directly to theChief Operating Officer, you will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure each property in your region is operating at its full potential.
Your focus will be on optimising opportunities, achieving key performance and financial targets, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

About Salter Brothers Hospitality Salter Brothers Hospitality currently operates 20 retreat hotels and estates; more than 29 restaurant and bars; 8 Spa Anise spas and other wellness facilities; and Spicers Scenic Rim Trail, one of the largest ecotourism ventures in Queensland with 38 rooms over five campsites.
The role and key duties; Provide hands-on leadership and operational support across all properties in your region.
Ensure alignment with SBH's strategic goals, brand standards and values; Act as a key conduit between property teams and our Central Services and Senior Leadership Team; Ensure a consistent guest experiences within your region and an overall responsibility for the protection and enhancement of the brand; Ensure a thorough understanding of the business model and be an advocate for change, growth and continuous improvement; Identifying and grow, current and future leaders within your region to foster a culture of professional development; Enhance the success of your direct reports by guiding them on the execution of budget and operational strategies; Own regional P&L performance, budgeting, and forecasting; Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth; Drive profitability while maintaining our luxury service standards; Champion marketing and brand awareness at a local level; Work to refine, implement, and improve operational standards as well as protecting the physical assets of your region.
Essential criteria required to be considered; Relevant tertiary education in Business, Hospitality Management or similar; Minimum 5 years of Hotel management experience in a high end or luxury Hotel environment; Must have Area, Regional or Multi-Hotel GM experience; Strong background in Food & Beverage operations; Proven track record in managing and motivating high performing teams across multiple business units; Sound acumen and ownership of P&L's, business models, budgeting and strategic leadership; Experience in the repositioning of operational standards to meet luxury brand standards; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Willingness to tackle every aspect of the business with a hands-on approach and a positive attitude.
