Maintenance Manager – Fresco Cheese Co Pty Ltd
Fresco is seeking a motivated hands on, all‑round Maintenance Manager to coordinate and manage maintenance tasks. We use Maintianx App to schedule and manage all site improvements, preventative maintenance and projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide array of maintenance and general trade activities.
Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance work
- Coordinate specialist trades to complete repairs and maintenance work
- Source and replace equipment spare parts as required
- Manage an inventory of spare parts and tools (work shed with all tools are supplied)
- Conduct basic maintenance repairs such as replacing lights and locks, repairing doors, painting maintenance, removal of carpet and cabinetry, maintaining plant and equipment
- Basic cool room doors and panel repairs
- Welding, equipment fabrication
- General laboring and construction
- Complete regular checklists and preventative maintenance schedules
- Grounds maintenance including leaf blowing, mowing, brush cutting, weeding and pruning
- Some administrative work to fulfil the above duties
- The position is full time
About you
The ideal candidate will be a motivated all‑rounder who is fully qualified in a trade and has exposure to a wide variety of work, particularly in the food industry.
- Physically fit
- Willing to operate a range of tools and equipment to complete maintenance tasks
- Problem solving skills and the ability to think laterally
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Desirable but not essential: White card
- Desirable but not essential: Work experience with a trade, trade qualifications or equivalent practical skills
