What you'll be doing
* Own the end-of-month process, including journals, reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate
* Partner with teams across Marketing, Supply Chain and Merchandise Planning to enhance cost visibility and support smarter decision‐making
* Deliver insightful Brand P&L analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
* Interpret and apply accounting standards in a practical, commercial way
* Prepare technical accounting papers and position memos with clarity and consistency
* Support half-year and year-end audits, improving audit readiness and controls
* Lead and contribute to process improvement, system enhancements, and automation initiatives
* Collaborate closely with senior finance leaders to support broader finance transformation initiatives

About you
* CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
* 5+ years' experience in financial accounting
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to apply it commercially
* Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to tools like Power BI or Power Query
* A natural problem-solver who looks for better, smarter ways of working
* Highly organised, detail‐oriented, and comfortable in a fast‐paced environment
* Confident communicator who can translate numbers into meaningful insights
* Experience working with auditors and ERP systems, with a mindset for optimisation
