My Ability Pathway (MAP) is a dynamic, values-driven disability services provider in the Barossa Valley. We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to lead day-to-day HR operations, support recruitment and onboarding, strengthen team engagement, and ensure HR compliance across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a busy generalist role, enjoys building relationships, and wants to contribute to a positive workplace culture in the disability sector.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Managing HR operations and HR compliance
* Updating and maintaining HR policies and procedures
* Supporting the full team member lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance, offboarding)
* Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, concerns and grievances
* Supporting performance management and disciplinary processes
* Coordinating training and professional development
* Supporting engagement and retention strategies
* Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
* Providing HR reporting, metrics and recommendations to leadership
* Supporting change management and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

* Minimum 4 years’ experience as an HR Generalist / HR Advisor
* Strong working knowledge of:
* Fair Work Act
* National Employment Standards
* SCHADS Award
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills
* Confidence managing sensitive information with discretion
* Strong Microsoft 365 capability
* Employment Hero experience (desirable)
* A HR, Business or related qualification (or equivalent experience)
