Based in Albury-Wodonga, Omega Technical Engineering provides subcontracting services to both local and interstate companies in a variety of industries, whilst fulfilling the ever-increasing manufacturing requirements for Ross Performance Parts and Aviaid Oil Systems, our own internationally recognised high performance aftermarket automotive brands.
Located in Albury-Wodonga, our facility is equipped with modern, up-to-date machinery that offers a broad range of capabilities. We provide an excellent opportunity for you to upskill into other technologies and software, ensuring you remain at the cutting edge of precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain CNC lathes
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
* Maintain keen attention to detail, working to exacting tolerances
* Work effectively within a collaborative team setting
Background with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls, and Mastercam programming software an advantage.

* Technical and mechanical aptitude

* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Initiative and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to quality standards and safe working practices
* Successful completion of an AQF Qualification Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or comparable)
* Two years full time employment (or equivalent part-time) in the occupation (desirable)
