About the Role – Permanent Part Time, 16 hours per fortnight
We are seeking applications from nurses passionate about facilitating access to learning, development and growth opportunities and fostering a culture of life-long learning. The Learning and Development team currently has a permanent Clinical Development Nurse position available within the ITCU/oncology portfolio. Clinical Development Nurses work to identify workforce learning needs, support the early career and clinical workforce, and coordinate development opportunities for staff and students. These may include assisting with delivering in-service sessions, study days, identifying avenues for professional growth and development opportunities and providing Learning and Development representation during times of service development and accreditation.

Mandatory Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) holding current registration with AHPRA
* Current certificate IV in Training and Development or relevant post-graduate qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in specialty area of nursing
* Evidence of recent clinical experience.
* Train the trainer certificate, or willingness to undertake the same.
* Competencies specific to area of practice-refer to Section 7.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Understanding of Aged Care funding model and requirements (Aged Care only)
* A valid Police Check
* COVID-19 Vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with the Secretary Department of Health Directions
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with the Secretary Department of Health Directions
