Aco Halgan are a Plastic Roto moulding company producing water treatment tanks, rainwater tanks and various other custom moulding products.
The position performs all tasks involved in the manufacture of the company’s products. This may include moulding, assembly, packing, dispatch, and delivery.
Supervise production operators enabling production of tanks and other products efficiently and to the highest quality standards to meet customer required despatch dates while ensuring that all factory staff operate in a safe environment. Acting as the primary liaison between senior management and the operations staff, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing all production operators and will spend time delegating tasks, managing workloads amongst the team, assessing performances, and reporting on developments.
Duties and Responsibilities may include:
* Day to day co-ordination of factory operators
* Allocation of tasks and activities amongst operators in line with the production planner.
* Discuss with management and resolve problems as they arise.
* Recommend & conduct staff training as needed.
* Review and assist with manufacturing schedule to ensure that plan can be executed effectively and in full.
* Supervising storage and handling of finished products.
* Ensure staff are trained and assessed on Work instructions for tasks they are required to perform.
* Ensure all inspection checks are performed by factory staff and records are maintained accurately.
* Ensure Non-conformance is raised and completed for any tank defects identified.
* Conduct spot stock takes in a timely manner of all RM and FG in the factory.
* Ensure accuracy of RM within their designated working area.
* Operation of forklift - valid license required.
