About The Role
An exciting new role has opened within the BG Private Financial Planning division. Working alongside the Wholesale Investment Advisor, our new Associate Advisor will assist clients with everything from applications, building investment portfolios to ensuring a seamless implementation experience.
This role focuses on High Net Worth Wholesale clients and will be assisting an experienced Advisor who needs support in this growing part of our division.
Using your technical expertise, a typical week would include:
* Take charge of implementing advice recommendations in an independent, diligent and timely manner
* Be responsible for client and product provider queries
* Prepare Investment Memorandums and other advice documents
* Support and work closely with the Paraplanning team in preparing advice documents
* Liaise with clients and product providers in a professional manner
* Conduct comprehensive research on products, investments and services
* Work alongside Advisors in preparing advice and investment strategies
* Support Advisors in meeting ongoing service requirements
* Ensure a seamless administration experience for our clients
What we are looking for
* Tertiary Degree in Commerce or Financial Planning
* Working towards, or have completed, a post graduate level Financial Planning qualification (Masters or Graduate Diploma Financial Planning)
* CFA accreditation or working towards a CFA accreditation
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Associate Advisor or Paraplanner role
* Minimum of 4 years' industry experience
* Strong understanding of compliance requirements
* Strong technical understanding and background of financial advice processes, investments and products
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident professional manner
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent time and workflow management skills.
* Experience using XPLAN is preferred
