We are seeking an experienced O&M / Asset Manager to oversee the operational performance of utility-scale energy projects. This is a senior role with responsibility for managing project assets, ensuring operational excellence, and leading teams across multiple sites. The role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in O&M activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the execution of long-term service agreements (LTSA) and maintenance contracts, managing projects ranging from 10MWh to 400MWh.
* Supervise on-site activities, including troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Ensure asset compliance and maintain accurate records and documentation; develop audit programs as required.
* Support pre-contract and tender activities, including defining O&M scope, pricing strategy, risk management, and procedures.
* Manage availability and performance guarantees, KPIs, and service-level reporting, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
* Lead communication and negotiation for O&M agreements; coordinate internal teams and subcontractors during project execution.
* Develop and manage subcontractor strategy, governance, and commercial performance, including contract management and ongoing evaluation.
* Maintain all O&M-related documentation, including proposals, reports, contracts, and service records, ensuring accurate control and compliance.
* Participate in commissioning and technical support of large-scale energy storage projects; understand O&M procedures and system operations.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in O&M management for energy storage or large-scale renewable projects, with at least one year in asset management including contract execution and operational oversight.
* Technical understanding of system architecture, fault analysis, and guidance on on-site troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with CMMS or similar systems for tracking and documenting maintenance activities.
* Strong technical knowledge of PCS, EMS, BMS, SCADA, and system integration.
* Understanding of grid-forming/grid-following control strategies and grid compliance.
