Hilton Adelaide is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. From offering local recommendations to arranging transportation and handling guest inquiries, you'll ensure that every guest experience is seamless and memorable.
Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel features 377 rooms, including guest rooms, executive floors, and suites. It offers unrivalled conference and event facilities with 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide capable of hosting 500 delegates for meetings, dining, and accommodations, all under one roof.
What You'll be doing
* Provide personalised recommendations for local attractions, dining, and entertainment to enhance the guest experience
* Assist guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and special requests
* Handle guest inquiries professionally, ensuring each guest's needs are met promptly
* Process and deliver messages for guests
* Perform valet duties, including greeting guests, assisting with parking, and retrieving vehicles upon request
* Coordinate and arrange services such as luggage handling and wake-up calls
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, policies, and local events
* Provide support to management in case of emergencies
* Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience from check-in to check-out
* Handle guest feedback and concerns, resolving issues efficiently
* Assist with VIP guest services and special requests to create memorable experiences
What We're Looking For
* Positive attitude and good communication skills
* Previous experience in a concierge or customer service role (hospitality or similar industry preferred)
* A current, valid driver's license and the ability to drive various vehicles (manual driving experience highly regarded)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* A passion for providing exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations
* Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
* Experience in driving cars, including valet service, in a fast-paced environment highly regarded
