We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled full‐time Workshop Foreman (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic) to join our busy workshop in Wingfield, SA.

Responsibilities
* Maintain a fleet of waste collection vehicles and associated equipment
* Supervise and manage the workshop and mechanical staff
* Prepare and submit reporting requirements
* Assist in staff training and development
* Assist with major and minor repairs as required
* Help manage emergency breakdowns as they arise
* Carry out scheduled maintenance
Qualifications
* Experience in managing staff
* A current heavy rigid truck driver's licence
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Occupational Health & Safety
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics or welding is an advantage
* Forklift licence is an advantage
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience. In accordance with our recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre‐Employment Medical, which includes a drug test. A current driving history with a good driving record will also need to be provided.
