Clerical Patient Care Coordinator (Surgery Connect)
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Public Contract Coordinator
to become a key part of our team. Through the Surgery Connect program, public patients are referred to our private hospital for essential surgical care.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with surgeons' practices to schedule hospital admissions and surgical operations.
Oversee the full patient journey from referral to post-op reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely communication back to the Surgery Connect team.
Manage payments to doctors and diagnostic providers efficiently and on time.
Serve as the central link between patients, surgeons, hospitals, and program administrators to ensure a seamless, professional, and compassionate care experience.
Essential Skills
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines with accuracy.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling, reporting, and payment processing.
Excellent communication skills.
Problem-solving ability.
Time management.
Team collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Previous experience in a healthcare administration, hospital coordination, or patient services role.
Experience coordinating surgeries, specialist appointments, or hospital admissions.
