Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and assess educational experiences that support children’s developmental needs and emotional well-being.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional learning.
- Actively support children’s transitions to school by preparing them for the next stage in their learning journey, focusing on school readiness and self-regulation skills.
- Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with foundation teachers, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of learning across the early childhood and primary years.
- Observe and document children’s progress, providing individualized support and feedback as needed.
- Work closely with families, educators, and the broader community to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure educational practices are aligned with early childhood learning frameworks and standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to planning and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ACECQA approved Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification with current Teachers Registration in SA. Working towards qualification may be considered with the ability to achieve a Special Authority to Teach
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Responding to Risk, Harm and Neglect certificate, and Child protection training
- Knowledge and understanding of early childhood education frameworks and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to building collaborative partnerships.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including collaboratively with foundation and primary school teachers.
- A passion for supporting children’s transitions and ensuring they feel confident and excited about starting school.
- Experience or interest in creating smooth, supportive transitions for children entering school.
