GYMBOD is a rapidly growing, innovative health food brand, who are now seeking to appoint Head of Sales to lead their next phase of growth with Australia's two largest grocery retailers, Coles and Woolworths. This newly created, pivotal leadership role will own the end-to-end customer strategy, commercial performance, and senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring GYMBOD is positioned as a valued, strategic partner. This is a rare opportunity to lead a category-defining brand in a high-growth, innovative business and make a lasting impact on Australia's health food market.
Reporting to the CEO & Co-Founder, the Head of Sales will lead negotiations, joint business planning, range strategy, and execution excellence across all products and categories. Balancing short-term commercial delivery with long-term brand and category growth, you will translate GYMBOD's innovation pipeline and consumer insights into compelling retailer strategies. You will also work cross-functionally to align customer plans with brand objectives, operational capability, and profitability targets, while shaping the future sales organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead and grow GYMBOD's Coles and Woolworths businesses with full P&L accountability.
* Establish GYMBOD as a strategic partner through insight-led Joint Business Planning.
* Drive revenue growth, margin delivery, and execution excellence.
* Own senior-level customer relationships, leading negotiations, JBPs, and long-term growth agendas.
* Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies, including pricing, range, promotional, and trade spend decisions.
* Drive range optimisation, distribution expansion, and in-store execution, partnering with marketing on innovation launches and activations.
* Build scalable sales processes and lead the development of a high-performing, accountable, insight-driven sales team.
The ideal candidate will have proven senior account leadership experience with Coles and Woolworths from within the FMCG industry, coupled with a demonstrated track record of delivering profitable growth. You will bring strong commercial, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience operating in high-growth or evolving business environments. A hands-on leader, you will be capable of building high-performing teams and influencing executive-level decisions to drive business success with a category mindset.
