Job Title: Site Engineer -

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in heavy civil engineering to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of complex construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This project is specifically working on Level Crossing Removals work.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute heavy civil engineering projects.
* Conduct site surveys, investigations, and assessments to gather essential data and ensure project feasibility.
* Prepare and review project plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with design requirements, codes, and regulations.
* Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including earthworks, foundation construction, structural installations, and roadworks.
* Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain project schedule and budget.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
* Experience in heavy civil engineering construction projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, and processes.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
