A new opportunity has become available to join our Stores team. We are seeking a Stores & Logistics Trainee based in Darwin.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Stores & Logistics trainee will provide support to the aviation stores and engineering teams by assisting with inventory control, receipt and dispatch of aircraft parts, tooling management, and logistics coordination. The role is designed to develop practical skills and knowledge in aviation stores operations while undertaking a nationally recognised Certificate II or III qualification in Aviation (Stores and Logistics) through Charles Darwin University.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of Year 10 (minimum) and eligibility to undertake a Certificate II/III traineeship.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn aviation industry standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Current driver's licence (or ability to obtain). Understanding of OHS principles in a supply chain environment
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or aviation support.
- Basic knowledge of aviation parts and tooling (advantageous but not required).
- Forklift Licence
