About the Roles
These volunteer roles sit within CLCN's Activity Teams and support the planning, coordination, and delivery of programs focused on employability and social cohesion. Volunteers contribute directly to student engagement, team collaboration, and community building while gaining hands-on experience in leadership, program coordination, event delivery, and cross-functional communication within a dynamic not-for-profit environment.

Key Responsibilities
As the
Team Leader
, you will:
● Co-lead CLCN Activity Teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver programs that strengthen employability outcomes and social cohesion for international students and emerging professionals.
● Support, guide, and coordinate Operations Assistants and relevant team members to deliver inclusive, high-quality, student-centred outcomes.
● Oversee end-to-end activity and event delivery, including venue bookings, catering and food orders, allocation of volunteers, guest speakers, games, and overall event operations.
● Coordinate people and resources required for activities and events, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and expectations are clearly communicated.
● Work closely with CLCN leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure activities align with organisational values, impact goals, and community needs.
● Monitor participation, engagement, and outcomes, using reflection and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
● Schedule and lead post-activity review meetings with the team to evaluate event performance, capture learnings, and identify improvements.
● Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that supports wellbeing, learning, and community building.
As the
Operations Assistant
, you will:
● Support Activity Team Co-Team Leaders in delivering CLCN programs that promote employability development and social cohesion.
● Assist with executing activities and events to ensure smooth operations and positive participant experiences.
● Provide operational support to team members, including scheduling, communication, and coordination of tasks and resources.
● Support event logistics such as venue setup, materials preparation, and follow-up activities
● Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and internal summaries, including managing event ticketing and registrations via Humantix to support reporting and evaluation.
● Identify operational issues and suggest improvements that enhance efficiency, engagement, and program impact, including attending post-activity review meetings to reflect on outcomes and improvements.
