The role, and what you'll be doing
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will work closely with the CEO to translate strategic vision into operational excellence. You'll lead core business functions, including operations, finance, customer delivery, and people, ensuring the business scales efficiently while staying mission-aligned. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of building systems, teams, and culture through rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence: Own day-to-day operations and lead the design of scalable systems, processes, and infrastructure to support growth.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with heads of Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure operational alignment across the business.
* Customer Delivery & Experience: Oversee the successful delivery of services to customers, ensuring high satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Finance & Commercial Oversight: Support financial planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance monitoring in collaboration with the CFO or finance function.
* People & Culture: Help shape company culture and manage people operations, ensuring the team scales sustainably and remains high-performing.
* Strategic Execution: Translate strategic priorities into execution plans, ensuring the right KPIs, accountability, and reporting frameworks are in place.
