An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Population Health team at Hedland Health Campus in the Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have...
Possession of, or substantial progression towards, the attainment of a Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing through an accredited educational institution.
Understanding of the Principles of Primary Health Care and its application to practice.
Effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across a diverse spectrum of the population.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal and culturally linguistically diverse communities in regional areas.
Position Profile:
Promotes the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion, health surveillance and early intervention strategies that are based on the principles of Primary Health Care and service priorities.
