About The Role
The Manager, Operations is an integral member of the Orbis Leadership Team and is responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the planning, implementation and review of operational functions that enable Orbis to provide high‐quality professional learning to educators and leaders across South Australia. The role provides leadership to a high‐functioning team delivering services across Orbis' critical operational functions including communication and marketing, digital solutions, procurement and contract management, finance, customer service, facilities, events, and administrative services. It ensures these functions operate efficiently and in alignment with the Strategy for Public Education in South Australia, the Professional Learning Strategy (in development), the Orbis operational model, and all contractual and governance requirements.
Qualifications
* Essential: Nil.
* Desirable: Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline, or relevant experience.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. Remuneration
MAS3 $127,859 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
