Responsibilities
* Assist in the successful delivery of the centre's community engagement events, programs and initiatives, providing administrative assistance and ensuring operational success and communication.
* Coordinate community partnerships, developing and managing strategic relationships, activities and events.
* Implement engagement plans aligned with Dilin Duwa's strategy, managing risks and reporting outcomes.
* Allocate and manage resources effectively to support community programs, ensuring timely contractor payments.
* Create engaging content for various communication channels to showcase Dilin Duwa's work to internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee a diverse portfolio of programs, including regional workshops (e.g. Alice Springs – Mparntwe, Shepparton – Kanny Goopna, Broome – Rubibi, Yarrabah) and any new programmes developed by the centre.
Qualifications
* Degree or relevant experience in a large, complex service‐oriented environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Experience developing and sustaining community relationships and partnerships.
* Track record in negotiating community engagement initiatives.
* High‐level organisational and time‐management skills.
* Cultural sensitivity and understanding when working with diverse community groups.
