We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing construction team, delivering government projects up to $1 million in value.
This is not a desk-only role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on site, taking ownership, directing the team, and driving projects from start to finish with confidence and accountability.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, from tender support and programming through to completion and handover. You will lead site teams, engage subcontractors and suppliers, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
You'll be comfortable splitting your time between site and home depending on project demands.
About You
You are not passive - you take initiative and lead from the front.
You:
* Have 5–10+ years of Project Management experience
* Possess strong technical construction knowledge
* Can confidently read and interpret construction drawings
* Have demonstrated experience directing subcontractors and suppliers
* Are comfortable leading teams and holding people accountable
* Have a strong understanding of safety procedures and documentation
* Can comfortably communicate with clients and manage stakeholders
* Are confident using email, Excel, Word and construction management platforms via phone and computer
* Enjoy solving problems and improving project outcomes
* Take responsibility and ownership of your projects
Personality-wise, you are a go-getter: proactive, organised, and solution-focused.
What We Offer
* Salary commensurate with experience
* Superannuation
* Company vehicle + associated expenses (servicing, maintenance, petrol)
* Reimbursement for training and education costs where relevant
* Autonomy and respect
* A supportive but performance-driven environment
* The opportunity to grow with a respected and expanding construction business
If you're looking to take ownership of your projects and be part of a team that values leadership, problem solving and quality outcomes, we'd love to hear from you. We operate from a foundation of ethics and trust, and we back our people with autonomy and flexibility to manage their time in a way that works for them and the project. There's no micromanagement here - just mutual respect, clear expectations, and support when you need it. We're a family-run business that believes in looking after our team and building long-term relationships, not just delivering projects.
