Our team is seeking a highly skilled Collection Systems Project Officer to play a critical part in the coordination and operation of our Collection Systems. The position involves providing high-quality project support to Museum staff, technical development and documentation, scheduling, user support and training for the Collection Management System (EMu) and Digital Asset Management System (Piction).
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in both general use and specific business processes, including data cleaning, data migration, systems upgrades, and publishing records onto our online catalogue.
You will work with internal stakeholders to solve problems using technical skills and enhance systems to improve business processes and efficiencies. This includes assisting with scheduling, user support and training for the Collection Management System (EMu) and Digital Asset Management System (Piction). You will also be responsible for data management and ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with Museum staff to provide project support and training. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
