Location:Launceston

Type:Full-Time

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of iconic projects, Fairbrother is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Launceston team in a full-time, permanent role. About Us

Operating throughout Tasmania and Victoria, Fairbrother is a nationally award-winning company specialising in commercial and industrial construction, joinery, and facilities management.

With over 50 years of experience, we've proven ourselves as an industry leader in Australian construction.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you'll be the driving force on the ground, responsible for the overall performance and delivery of our projects. Your ability to lead and inspire a team culture built on positivity, continuous improvement, clear communication, collaboration, and mutual respect will be key to your success.

At Fairbrother, we believe our people are our greatest asset—and that belief underpins our reputation for excellence. We're looking for individuals who align with our purpose, vision, and guiding principles, and who can demonstrate the ability to:

* Champion high standards of WHS compliance across all site activities
* Oversee daily site operations in line with project programs and budgets
* Effectively manage workforce planning, productivity, and labour scheduling
* Procure equipment and materials with precision, ensuring cost and quantity control within budget
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
* Liaise closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to expectation

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

* Proven experience in commercial construction management.
* A strong understanding of best-practice construction and safety methodologies.
* Exposure to a variety of project types and industry sectors.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead by example.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally across all levels.
* Well-developed planning, organisational, and time management capabilities.
* Sound cost control techniques and commercial awareness.
* A clear understanding of WHS requirements and effective conflict resolution skills.

What We Offer

At Fairbrother, we're proud to offer more than just a job—we offer a career built on growth, support, and purpose. When you join our team, you'll enjoy:

* Being part of a company that genuinely values its people and invests in their development.
* A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions are recognised.
* The opportunity to work on innovative, high-quality, and iconic projects.
* Clear pathways for career progression and advancement.

We offer a competitive remuneration package that reflects your experience, skills, and the responsibilities of the Site Manager role. In addition, you'll have access to:

* Health and Wellbeing Programs.
* Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
* Regular social events and team engagement activities.
* Opportunities to give back through our Fairbrother Foundation, supporting a range of community charities.
