Hallmark is a well-established landscape construction company based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, delivering commercial and residential projects throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Due to consistent growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced supervisor/foreman to join our team.
About the role
Reporting to the project manager, you'll have a hands-on role whilst being responsible for the day-to-day management of landscape construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead on-site crews on landscape construction projects.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard of workmanship.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Carry out and oversee hardscape construction works.
• Complete reporting on project progress, and maintain effective communication with project managers, staff, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Ensure WHS compliance and site safety.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 3-5 year's supervisory experience in landscape construction required.
• Hardscape and softscape experience is essential (Commercial landscape experience highly regarded)
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Experience operating plant and machinery (Excavators and Skid-Steer).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve on-site.
• Medium Rigid (MR) license favourable, but not essential.
• White Card and Working With Children Check required.
