Pathology Collector (Part Time) – Colac, Victoria
We are seeking a part-time Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team within Colac, Victoria. The ideal candidate is self‐motivated, has a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Collect blood and other pathology samples from patients.
* Attend to the care, storage, and processing of pathology specimens.
* Handle paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
* Work independently, including weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or equivalent industry experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
* Sound clinical knowledge.
* Effective communication skills with the collections team, doctors, patients, and other stakeholders.
* Current driver's licence.
* Right to work in Australia.
