Project Manager - Design Coordination
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager - Design Coordination to oversee the design process across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure effective coordination of design activities.
* Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design challenges and optimize project outcomes.
* Conduct regular design reviews to guarantee compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
* Identify opportunities for value engineering and implement cost-saving measures to enhance project profitability.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the construction team and design consultants to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
* Drive innovation in design while balancing functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and complete design documentation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong background in delivering educational and health projects (or similar).
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
* Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse stakeholders and drive project success.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals to achieve project goals.
* A qualification in architecture, engineering, or construction management is preferred.
