In this casual role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly clients in the community, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with their daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeepingEngaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeingMonitoring clients' health and reporting any changes or concerns to their Care PartnerAdvocating for clients' rights and ensuring their needs are met with empathy and respectWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in aged care or disability support, preferably in a similar roleStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and their familiesCompassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of older adultsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from Care PartnersRelevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalentPreferably speak a second language - Arabic, Serbian, RussianCurrent National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening CheckValid First Aid and CPR CertificatesFull working rights in Australia (required)Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insuranceWhat we offerAt St Sergius Aged Care, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
