Electrical Trades / EIC Instrument Planner - Sunshine Sugar Broadwater Mill
The EI&C Planner is responsible for delivering high quality work plans to the EI&C Supervisor and trade team members.
This role engages with other departments (such as Production and QA) to ensure that critical tasks are incorporated into maintenance plans.
Together with the EI&C Supervisor, this role supports reliable and safe plant operations to meet the financial and production goals of Sunshine Sugar.
The role includes the provision of technical support and services for all activities involving Electrical / Instrumentation / Process Control / maintenance and associated Capital work.
What's involved:
Review and prioritise jobs logged in the CMMS
Inspect job sites to ensure appropriate resources are identified and made available
Prepare designs and specifications in accordance with AS**** requirements
Actively participate in continuous improvement, RCFA and ALCM programs
Identify and report opportunities for improvement in Electrical and process control systems
Ensure that safe work procedures are followed and reviewed to eliminate and/or control the WHS risk in the workplace
Master data ownership and workflow management ownership
Adhere to all Planning & Scheduling procedures and processes as per site standards
We arelooking for:
Trade qualifications in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control or appropriate University Degree
Previous planning experience preferred or extensive experience in Industrial environment
NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate for electrical wiring work (desirable)
Strong background in plant electrical, instrument and control systems in heavy industry
Proficiency in calibration, installation, commissioning, and fault finding of Instrumentation
Familiarity with wide range of pressure, level, temperature, flow, and analytical Instrumentation
Experience with distributed control, PLC systems and Industrial Instrumentation.
Working knowledge of AS**** requirements
Sound understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance
Knowledge of AC and DC Motor control systems
High level communication skills both written and verbal
Commitment and good attitude to safety and workplace culture
Proven leadership and empowerment of employees
Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge and expertise
