As a Survey Technician, you will be responsible for performing fieldwork functions including set-out, as-constructed, volumetric, boundary marking and conformance surveys.
About the Role
This is a key position in our team that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform fieldwork functions using accepted techniques associated with good surveying practice.
* Organise resources, vehicle and staff for a field crew.
* Undertake field surveys to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Diploma in Surveying or recognised equivalent or working towards.
* Strong computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* A basic understanding of QLD survey legislation, guidelines and standards.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* A current open driver's licence.
