Senior Formulation Specialist
* Job Summary:
* We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Formulation Specialist to lead the development and optimisation of chemical processes and formulations for coatings, membranes, and other building products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop new chemical processes and formulations to meet customer requirements.
* Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
* Lead scale-up of new and improved formulations from lab to production, ensuring efficient transfer.
* Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions.
* Evaluate alternative raw materials and optimise processes to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
* Provide technical support to manufacturing, QC, and sales teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain technical documentation, reports, and procedures to support compliance and accreditation.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in formulation development and process optimisation.
* Strong understanding of chemical processes and formulations, including coatings and membrane technologies.
