Compassionate Care WA is seeking FEMALE ONLY Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in our South corridor (Mandurah, Baldivis, Rockingham) who can commit to at least 20 hours or more per week (example: 2 day shifts (20), 1 day & 1 night (16), 3 sleep shifts(18))Reporting to a local Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to our disabled Participants in a SIL Accommodation setting (max 2 person), ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with the utmost care and consideration.We are looking for SIL Accommodation Support Workers, Day Shifts 8am-6pm, and 6pm-8am (Sleep shifts) Monday-Sunday, Max 38 hrs per week, as well as fully Active shifts Day shifts 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, Night shift 10-pm-6amYou will be experienced in managing Participants with significant Complex behaviours, including but not limited to Dementia, Autism, ADHD and Personal care.What you'll be doingAssisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, planning activities and meal preparationMonitoring and documenting residents' health, behaviour and progress, and reporting any concerns to the CCWA management and nursing teamOrganising and facilitating social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' wellbeingMaintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for all residentsCommunicating effectively with residents, their families and the wider care teamAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsWhat we're looking forCertificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in disability servicesProven experience (1-2 years) in a residential setting, ideally within the disability support industry, supporting complex participantsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approachStrong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectivelyA genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with a disability, and a commitment to person-centered careA current NDIS Screener is required, and the Right to work in AustraliaWhat we offerOngoing training and development opportunitiesFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balance with a variety of shift patterns availableA friendly and inclusive team cultureThis role requires availability for mixed shifts including day, nights and/or weekends.About usCompassionate Care WA is a leading provider of residential aged care and disability support services in Western Australia.
