The key duties of the position include The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Test Analyst APS6 role in the Applications Delivery Section of the Digital Branch. As the Test Analyst, Applications Delivery you will provide expert quality assurance services to support the delivery and continuous improvement of NLA systems, drawing on your deep knowledge of testing principles, IT standards, and policy frameworks. Operating under limited direction, you will perform manual testing, coordinate testing activities, develop automated test cases, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure digital services meet business and user needs. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring: Experience in software testing (at least 3 years in a testing role), including automated and manual testing techniques. Strong technical skills in test case design, execution, and defect management using modern tools and frameworks. A deep understanding of quality assurance principles, IT standards, and policy frameworks. Proven ability to coordinate testing activities including User Acceptance Testing and contribute to continuous improvement of testing and release processes.
