Community Services Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Services Manager to lead our statewide services from our Hobart office. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to a rights-based framework and the ability to lead staff to achieve similar outcomes.
The role requires undertaking managerial functions, exercising control over operations, and developing work practices and procedures. Additionally, the Manager will provide mentoring and supervision to Assistant Managers, establish work area outcomes, and prepare performance reports.
Suitable candidates will possess experience in program development, strategic thinking, and complex decision-making. They will also demonstrate leadership skills, the ability to manage staff, and a passion for developing peoples' capacity.
The ideal candidate will hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Community Services, or equivalent experience. Experience working with the NDIS and MYP is desirable, as well as current National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Card endorsements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Mentor and supervise Assistant Managers to support them in achieving their goals.
* Develop effective work practices and procedures for various projects.
* Establish and monitor progress towards work area outcomes.
