The Careers & Industry Engagement Manager delivers professional, proactive careers services to
support a diverse student population and MIT's strategic direction. The role supports student
employability by facilitating student access to both paid and unpaid work opportunities, and industry
experience including internships and industry projects. The Careers & Industry Engagement Manager
builds relationships with industry that enable these opportunities for students and deliver outcomes
to industry, which can then form the basis of two-way, mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
The position also works with the Faculty to develop and promote co-curricular skill building
opportunities that enhance graduate employability, and engages in proactive outreach with industry
and with MIT alumni.

You will have substantial experience in business development, recruitment or sales - and/or a
similar university careers role. You thrive in an entrepreneurial, self-driven and goal-oriented
environment. As an exceptional networker, communicator and relationship builder, you will be able
to initiate, manage and sustain an array of business relationships for the benefit of MIT, its students
and industry partners. A motivated, people-person, you are comfortable working with young people
