Task & responsibilitie Maintenance and Repair : Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnostics : Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines and other mechanical systems, troubleshooting problems related to diesel engines. Hydraulic Systems : Knowledge and service of hydraulic systems, including repairs and maintenance of various hydraulic components. Installations : Install and calibrate equipment, including powertrains and hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality. Auto Electrical Work : Perform auto electrical repairs and maintenance, including wiring and troubleshooting electrical systems on agricultural machinery. Record Keeping : Maintain detailed records of services performed, repairs needed, and parts used in compliance with safety and operational protocols. Compliance : Ensure that all work adheres to safety standards and regulations within the agricultural industry. Collaboration : Work closely with other team members and departments to support overall farm operations and machinery usage. Familiarity with a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles, including light trucks, heavy goods vehicles, and commercial service vehicles. Desirable: Experience with multi-brand servicing in dealership or regional workshop settings. Valid Australian driver’s licence – HR or HC licence preferred.
