Job Description
The Melbourne Account Manager will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of customers, driving both retention and growth across the plumbing and fire protection sectors. This is a hands‐on, relationship‐led sales role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, technical conversations, and building long‐term partnerships.
* Grow and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and end users across Greater Melbourne.
* Identify new business opportunities and execute structured sales plans to increase product adoption.
* Provide technical product knowledge, application guidance, and solution‐based advice to customers.
* Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, technical, supply chain) to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Prepare and deliver presentations, capability overviews, and product demonstrations.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to shape sales strategy.
* Maintain accurate pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience in B2B sales, ideally within plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, industrial equipment, or building services.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills, comfortable dealing with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
* Technically inclined, with the ability to understand how products integrate into plumbing or fire systems.
* Highly organised, self‐driven, and able to manage your schedule independently.
* Motivated by results, customer satisfaction, and long‐term partnership building.
