Operations Manager Role Summary
We are a pet healthcare organization seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to lead our team. This role provides direction, support, and mentoring for the vet nurse and reception team.
The successful candidate will work alongside our existing Operations Manager to ensure a smooth transition with the team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years' experience in a leadership role as a senior vet nurse or practice manager.
* Providing direction, training, and scheduling on shifts to suit business and staffing requirements;
* Carrying out vet nurse duties as required;
* Ensuring that inventory and stock levels are adequate for operational purposes;
* Decision making on shifts to overcome challenging scenarios and obtain the best outcome for patients, clients, and the team;
* Identifying staff training needs and working with the General Manager to hire and retain existing staff;
* Providing exceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients;
This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire a team, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
