We're seeking a motivated Dermal Clinician and Receptionist to join our growing team at Northeast Plastic Surgery, a well-established specialist practice offering a full range of plastic, reconstructive, and addressing changes of facial ageing. In this role, you will support experienced plastic surgeons and clinical staff in delivering the highest standards of patient care across all areas of practice — including addressing changes of facial ageing, breast and weight loss surgery, injectables, and dermal treatments — within a professional, supportive, and welcoming environment.
About the Role
This is a unique dual position combining dermal therapy and front-of-house reception duties. You'll play an integral role in supporting our patients' journey — from first enquiry to post-treatment care.
Key Responsibilities
Performing dermal and skin rejuvenation treatments (e.g. IPL, peels, skin needling, medical-grade skincare consultations).
Providing pre- and post-operative support to surgical patients.
Managing reception duties, including phone and email enquiries, appointment scheduling, and patient coordination.
Supporting the clinical team with administrative and operational tasks.
Maintaining a warm, professional, and confidential environment for every patient.
About You
You're a confident communicator with a genuine passion for skin health and patient care. You bring both clinical skill and professionalism to everything you do.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Essential skills and experience
Qualified Dermal Clinician (Bachelor of Dermal Science or equivalent).
Experience in medical, cosmetic, or specialist clinic settings.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in medical practice software Genie and Microsoft Office.
A patient-focused, team-oriented attitude.
Confidence to work in a fast paced environment.
Experience with Venus Versa, Aspect Dr and Dermaquest products.
Experience in a medical environment.
