Universal Cranes is a privately owned family business that operates mobile crane hire branches throughout Queensland and New South Wales. We have a fleet of 200 cranes ranging from 2.5T to 1200T, including minicranes, Frannas, all-terrains and crawler cranes. Universal Cranes began as a family crane hire business in 1993 and have grown to become a national crane hire company. We pride ourselves on maintaining a family business service culture while providing our clients with a national high-capacity fleet.
We are currently seeking an experienced Reception / Administration officer to join our friendly team.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Reception/ Administration Officer to support our Universal Cranes operations in Brisbane. In this position you will work alongside a agile team to deliver a high level of service to our crane hire customers. Reporting to the Brisbane Branch Manager your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and directing customer enquiries
- Answering and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Ensure the upkeep of visitor sign-in procedure
- Manage credit card reimbursements and petty cash
- Uniform / PPE ordering and maintenance
- Booking / Managing travel arrangements
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Maintaining the office space and re-stocking office supplies
- General administration duties
About you:
- Previous experience in a Reception/ Administration role
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Exposure to Construction, Cranage, Transport or other relevant blue collar sectors is preferable but not essential
