About the role
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Alivio Tourist Park Canberra. This is a casual position with flexible hours, perfect for those looking to supplement their income or gain experience in the hospitality industry.
What you'll be doing
* Providing exceptional customer service to guests by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring tables are clean and presentable
* Preparing and serving a range of coffees and other hot beverages to a high standard
* Assisting with food preparation and replenishing stock as needed
* Attending to the bar (current RSA is essential)
* Handling cash and processing payments accurately
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area
* Supporting the wider team as required to ensure the smooth operation of the venue
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, such as a cafe, restaurant or bar
* Previous experience as a barista will be highly regarded
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Enthusiasm for providing top-notch customer service and a desire to contribute to a positive team environment
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and occasional split shifts
A Valid ACT RSA and full availability for the Christmas and New Years period are essential.
