Job Description:
The Line Planning Engineer position is a critical role within the Maintenance Planning team, responsible for implementing the airline's Approved Maintenance Program and acquitting all maintenance requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
This Brisbane-based, permanent full-time position involves working day and night shifts on a rotational basis at our Operations Centre in Southbank.
The successful candidate will oversee daily maintenance plan acquittal, finalize upcoming plans for hangar and gate maintenance, and ensure optimal efficiency within capacity agreements.
Liaising with engineering and maintenance stakeholders to resolve production issues, coordinating resources and facilities to achieve work packages while protecting fleet operational availability are key aspects of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum 3 years' experience in engineering/aircraft maintenance for an airline operating similar aircraft complexity
* Certification in Aeroskills (minimum cert IV) or relevant tertiary qualification
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize work requirements in a fast-paced environment
* Working knowledge of OEM maintenance manuals and documentation
* Understanding of aircraft structure and systems, including propulsion systems for operated aircraft types
* Maintenance planning concepts and Microsoft Office skills
