About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our Assisted Community Living programs in Tweed Heads.
In this role, you will support people living with psychosocial disability and complex mental health needs to build capacity, develop life skills and participate fully in community life.
You will work within a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed framework, supporting customers to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible.
This role may include shift work, evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred support aligned with individual NDIS goals and recovery plans
Assist customers to develop daily living skills and independence
Support with activities such as community participation, appointments, transport, cooking, budgeting and personal care
Promote social inclusion, wellbeing and community engagement
Work collaboratively with families, carers, clinicians and external service providers
Maintain accurate case notes and documentation using digital systems
Support customers to navigate services within the NDIS and mental health system
Contribute to a safe, positive and strengths-based environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, reliable and passionate about mental health recovery.
You will ideally have:
Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Disability, Individual Support, Peer Work or Community Services
Experience supporting people with mental illness, psychosocial disability or complex support needs
Understanding of recovery-oriented practice, trauma-informed care and person-centred support
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Confidence using digital systems and Microsoft Office
Current NSW Driver Licence (Class C) and willingness to drive larger vehicles if required
NDIS Worker Check, NSW Working With Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
