Overview
We are a family-run scrap metal recycling business seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours and an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years experience operating machinery in scrap metal recycling or similar industry
* Excavator Ticket / Experience operating excavators
* Must be physically fit and capable of performing the physical duties required in a busy scrap yard
* Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Working Hours
* Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Guaranteed weekly hours
* Opportunity for paid overtime on weekends
Additional Requirements
* Applicants may be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing
* Must be comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment
