Position Profile
We are currently seeking to appoint an Aboriginal Liaison Officer - Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide a liaison service between Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islanders clients presenting to HHC and WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Pilbara staff.
* Deliver direct welfare and health services to Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island patients and their families.
* Empower Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander patients' independence in their own health care.
* Collaborate with other government and non-government services and Aboriginal/TSI communities on issues relating to Aboriginal/TSI health and welfare.
