We are partnering with a key ASX listed company to find a Commercial Manager. This major, complex contract covers significant projects and assets across the state. We are actively seeking experienced Commercial Managers (or Senior Contracts Managers) with formal legal qualifications for a secure permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end contract lifecycle management of key partners including drafting, negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, variations, and close-out.
* Legal & contractual compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant legal frameworks, governance standards, and policies.
* Commercial risk mitigation by proactively managing potential disputes, breaches, and complex contractual issues.
* Act as a key commercial interface to the business and a trusted partner to project teams and executives.
* Contribute to contract management strategy, performance reporting, and continuous process improvement.
About You
* Formal Legal Qualification (Required) : A degree in Law (LLB, JD) or equivalent is essential to manage complex contracts.
* Significant experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Contracts Manager, or similar role within a services context.
* Demonstrated ability to manage contract financials, drive value for money, and negotiate favourable commercial outcomes.
* Superior communication, negotiation, dispute resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
