**About the Role**:
Lead the procurement and contract management of asset damage claim activities with minor assistance from technical asset managers while complying with relevant ACT Government policies and legislation. The objective of this position is to project manage the delivery of activities for Roads ACT's asset damage claims.
This position is a 6 month contract paying $170 per hour and is based in Canberra.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Document drafting will include, but is not limited to:
- requests for tender/quotes,
- statements of requirements (scope of works),
- procurement plan minutes and variations,
- panel or contract management plans,
- evaluation plans, risk plans, delegate approval requests,
- confidential text requests, and contract variations.
**Key Skills**:
- A qualification in government procurement and contracting and/or substantial relevant experience, preferably within a government environment.
- Demonstrated experience with procurement processes and contract management, preferably within a government environment.
- Demonstrated high level communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to negotiate outcomes with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, as it applies to procurement activities in the ACT Government, particularly Procurement ACT.
- Preferable - Engineering or infrastructure management and/or substantial relevant experience.
