Corporate Security Officer

Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Corporate Security Officer to support security-related activities and administration across all Airbus Australia Pacific operational sites. This pivotal role ensures compliance with Airbus and Defence customer requirements, and supports our Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership.
* Maintain and administer the Defence Security Assessed Positions (DSAP) register
* Sponsor and manage Defence security clearances
* Conduct security inductions, off-boarding, and awareness training
* Deliver travel security briefings and manage international travel reporting
* Provide site support across access control systems, CCTV, and alarms
* Manage DISP compliance activities, financial administration, and ICT security requests
* Serve as Security Officer (SO) for AAP Brisbane, supporting national operations
* Assist in the planning and delivery of security risk management and education campaigns

Essential
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a multi-site security support role, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
* Demonstrated ability to support or lead security compliance, planning, and risk processes
* Diploma or Certificate IV in security operations, risk management, policing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical thinking and service‐driven approach
* Organisational skills with ability to meet competing priorities
* Australian Government Security Clearance at NV1 level (or ability to obtain)
Desirable
* Experience in aviation or Defence sector
* Defence Security Officer course (can be undertaken post‐recruitment)
