Overview
Lucas TCS has been awarded another wall raise of a Magnetite Tailings Storage Facility, located at South Middleback Ranges (SMR), approximately 60km from Whyalla, SA. Scope of works includes the crushing and screening of iron ore. Ideally, we seek experienced Loader operators who can work across a number of machines and are willing to carry out labouring activities from time to time.
Responsibilities
* Operate loaders and related machinery across multiple units as required.
* Carry out labouring activities as needed to support site operations.
* Identify wear parts and perform change-outs with hands-on mechanical aptitude.
* Maintain safe work practices and report any safety concerns.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Hands on experience with wear parts identification and change-outs.
* Good mechanical aptitude.
* Must be clean shaven.
* Construction Industry White Card.
* Metso Impact/Jaw/Cone Crusher and screening plant experience.
* A Criminal History Check and comprehensive industry standard medical are a requirement of this role.
* Previous experience with crushing & screening plant, and technical requirements as listed above.
* Previous experience working in regional and remote environments and working FIFO rosters such as 14:7, including night shift.
* Good track record of working safely.

Metso Crusher and screening plant experience preferred.
